Jezička kompetencija i savremeno društvo (2017)

Zašto danas učimo strane jezike? Moramo da prihvatimo da sve počinje upravo sa razumevanjem. Razumeti drugoga možemo kao društveno biće, kao člana socijalne klase, kao pripadnika određene vere, itd. Međutim, pre svega toga, moramo „razumeti“ signale koje nam šalje, kojima pokušava da nas informiše, kojima pokušava da okarakteriše sebe i svoju okolinu, da iskaže svoja osećanja, svoje potrebe, svoje mišljenje. To sve pak čini kroz komunikaciju sa nama, sa svojom okolinom. Ukoliko nismo u stanju da njegove signale dekodiramo, protumačimo, nećemo biti u mogućnosti da shvatimo njegove poruke i potrebe, nećemo moći da ga upoznamo.

Vijak se okreće dalje, pošto ne možemo da ga razumemo, ne možemo ni da ga upoznamo, a pošto ga ne poznajemo, ne možemo ni da ga prihvatimo, a onog koga ne možemo da prihvatimo, taj nam ne može biti prijatelj. Iz svega ovoga možemo shvatiti da je jezik „onog drugoga“ taj koji nam omogućava da stičemo prijatelje, te je za svakoga važno da govori što više jezika, kako bi imao što više prijatelja, odnosno više mogućnosti za ostvarenje svojih ciljeva.

Business Serbian (2014)

Business Serbian, a coursebook for language learners is unique in more than one respect. This is the first ever language book that focuses exclusively on business terminology and offers assistance in learning Business Serbian. The book consists of 15 units designed for a one-year course.
